National-level Talent Recognition Application

1.  Scope of Funding:  Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology Fields (including science, engineering, medicine, etc.)

2.  Funding Details

      Duration of funding:  3 years

      Total funding amount:  Selected doctors may receive a reward (no less than RMB 1.5 million for Young Talents / no less than RMB 3 million for Innovative Talents), along with additional support such as resettlement allowances, research funds, and other benefits. 

  Upon selection, recipients may choose to work in China and enjoy preferential treatment including talent green cards, elderly care and medical insurance, priority school enrollment for their children, etc. Alternatively, they may engage in advisory cooperation, with specific arrangements to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

3.  Application Requirements

      Young Talents:  

                phd;

                be under 40 years old; 

                have worked for no less than 3 years after obtaining a doctoral degree (Including postdoctoral experience);

                have not resided or worked in China for an extended period in the past year.

      Innovative Talents:  

                phd;

                have worked for no less than 3 years after obtaining a doctoral degree (Including postdoctoral experience);

                have not resided or worked in China for an extended period in the past year; 

                have served as an associate professor or higher position at overseas universities/research institutions, or held a senior position at internationally renowned enterprises.

        The program is Open to foreign scholars, especially those who have obtained doctoral degrees from universities outside China.  Scholars of Chinese descent (including those from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) are also eligible to apply.

4.  Application Methods

      The doctor has an entrepreneurial project and needs to register a business in China. The application should be made in the form of talent relying on the enterprise.

      The doctoral candidate does not have an entrepreneurial project and does not need to come to China during the application period (which will not affect their current work). They can entrust us to match enterprises related to their research fields and apply through these enterprises

5.  Application Timeline:  Deadline is the end of March each year; results will be announced in January of the following year.
